  13.     Welcome to Russian Font III
  14.  
  15.     Due to the good responses I got from my first Russian Fonts on Disk 
  16.     517 and to the Russian Vector Font on Disk 805, I redesigned the
  17.     keyboard layout in order to match the Russian typewriter & to be
  18.     compatible with the Russian fonts on WINDOWS: The four fonts are 
  19.     called: Glasnost (<=> Courier), Izwestja (<=> Times) and Wolga (
  20.     <=> Helvetica) & Rubaka.

  22.     One thing about the fonts on Disk 517 was that they were bitmap fonts 
  23.     and that they were not rescalable. So that's the reason why I'm using 
  24.     now the ADOBE POSTSCRIPT TYPE 1 format. I can transform the fonts
  25.     into the PageStream-Format (DMF), the Professional Page-Format &
  26.     the IntelliFont-Format. When you pay the Shareware-Fee, you get all
  27.     four formats.

  29.     NOTE:
  30.     Since this font is SHAREWARE one letter is missing (it's the 'D','d').
  31.     In order to get the complete font, please send 10$, 15DM, 5£ or 
  32.     equivalent and a disk to me.

  34.     USAGE:
  35.     Copy the Keymap 'ruslat2' to your directory "DEVS:Keymaps".
  36.     When you want to use the Russian font on your AMIGA, you have to 
  37.     switch the KEYMAP to the new Russian one called rus0 & rus1, (IN 
  38.     SHELL/CLI: SETMAP RUS1/SETKEYBOARD RUS1 or from preferences). 
  39.     Otherwise you will not be able to reach all the keys! 
  40.     I've made an IFF picture with all keyboard equivalents of the
  41.     Russian letters.

  43.     FUTURE PLANS:
  44.     At the moment I'm designing more Russian fonts & am trying to do
  45.     some Hebrew & Arabic fonts. But they are quite difficult, since I
  46.     don't speak Hebrew nor Arabic.
  47.  
  48.     SERVICE:
  49.     If you need fonts in other languages (e.g. Greek, Arabic, Hebrew, 
  50.     Thai), please write to me and send me a complete list of all 
  51.     letters/signs/characters in that language (and if possible a layout 
  52.     of a typewriter in order to put the keys on the right spot).
